Lakes’ Cruize Corvin Wins WSCA Cross Country Championships

Sophomore Cruize Corvin wins the 2021 Washington State Coaches Association Individual Cross Country Championships. Corvin ran 15:17.9 to win the 3200 meter event, and help the Lakes’ Men to a 3rd place team finish. #GoLancers  

Lakes High School XC Places at State

The Washington State Coaches Association hosted a virtual Cross Country State Championship. Each school ran their athletes 3200 meters on the track and posted each of the times. The Lakes’ Women placed 9th in the event and the Men placed 3rd.  Lakes Sophomore Cruize Corvin was the individual State Champion with a time of 15:17.9.

Magnus Neil Breaks 36 Year Old Swim Record

Senior Magnus Neil set the 50 meter freestyle record at Lakes High School with a time of 21.23 seconds. The previous record, 21.60 had stood at Lakes since 1985. Magnus has set a goal of swimming a 20.90 second time in the PCL Championships on April 30, to earn All American Honors. #GoLancers

3/16/2021 Game vs. Spanaway Lake

The Varsity took on Spanaway Lake at their place and on their senior night and played hard but fell short. We enjoyed playing one last time with our teammate Hannah Underwood as she had to leave us to move away, she will be dearly missed , Our team made her some fun items to remember
